No fear
I love my dad’s film negatives. When I was very small, I like to take a strip of negative and looked at it under the light, trying to guess who were in the frames, or where the pictures were taken, or what color shirt was each person wearing. Passed quite many a boring afternoon doing that.
From film to digital, from black-and-white to colour, how many years have passed? I don’t know, but it happened in my lifetime; so did the transition from cassette tapes to CD, LD, DVD; existence of desk top computers, laptops, cell phones…the list goes on and on. It’s no wonder that the older generation tend to develop a phobia towards technology, everything seems to change from what they once used to, so fast, so sudden. We live in a world where we look at a certain symbol on an equipment and we know what has to be done next.
So, I am telling myself that it is really important to keep up with technology.
